Members of The Kent Anderson Collective have individually and collectively performed jazz, blues, rock, soul, funk, pop, show tunes and just about every style of music from coast to coast and around the world. Featured on electric and double bass - Kent Anderson, has been in involved in nearly every facet of music; as record executive, producer, educator and musician. A graduate with a degree in Performance on Double Bass, he has served as a member of several big bands & orchestras, a regional rock band, a jazz fusion band in Minneapolis and pit orchestras for numerous American and National touring companies. For 17 years Frankie Donaldson toured the world as the drummer for Ramsey Lewis and has mentored many well-known jazz musicians throughout his career. Frank is a respected Columbia College Adjunct Professor and educator. Keyboardist Bill Giardini has performed in blues and rock bands, trios, show bands and has opened shows for Albert King, Buddy Miles and Willie Dixon. In addition to the three core members of The Collective, the group enlists the assistance of additional talented musicians appropriate for a particular situation, setting or request. Vocalist Amanda Coppotelli, a former student at Chicago's Columbia College sits in with the trio as guest vocalist from time to time. Amanda's influences range from Amy Winehouse to Chance the Rapper to Peggy Lee to Carol King. When he’s in town and not out on tour, our longtime friend and guitarists extraordinaire – Gerey Johnson provides additional funk and soul. Gerey’s credits include: Boney James, Marcus Miller, Brian Culbertson, Steve Cole, Richard Elliott to name a few. And when the addition of a saxophone is appropriate, the group adds Roosevelt University graduate – Kyle Madsen to The Collective.
